This necklace, knotted on nylon thread, is 19 inches
in length including the hammered and engraved sterling silver clasp. It
is composed of polymer clay beads and shell heishe, and has a wonderful
fluid drape. The precise, clean graphic nature of the cane beads led me
to leave a raw hint of texture when cutting each one, which heightens
the visual interest.
